I expect the discussion of the topic. In English. The participants should be able to speak English. So, everybody who can speak English is wellcome.

Once girlfriends of mine and I had a craft club. We met once a week. Everyone had her own project with her, and though everyone worked on her own project, we were together and talked about everything, and joked, and had a good time. Then one of the girlfriends decided that she would like to show everyone how to make beautiful ornaments for Christmas. She showed us pictures of Faberge eggs and shared with us some ideas on how to use beads and ribbons and so on. We made the ornaments - they were very different. And then we exchanged them, so everyone got a Christmas present
Do you plan something like that?

That's what I'm asking about.
What kind of discussion?
The discussion can be like the one described by Stanislaw Lem in his 'The Futurological Congress'. There were too many people who wanted to make a speech during the Congress. So all the participants got booklets with all the speeches before the meetings. Each speaker would call out the page number and the paragraph number, so that the listeners could find it in the booklet. That's how everyone knew what the speaker was trying to say - his/her concepts and theses. To prove his/her ideas the speaker would - again - call out the paragraph numbers, which contained the examples, proofs, illustrations, and clarifications.
Discussions were similar. Someone in the audience would stand up and call out the page and paragraph number which pointed to the idea s/he would like to bring up. And so on.
So, the discussions went like this:
Speaker: - Page 489, #1, because # 4, 5, and 7.
Man from audience: - It's not true because page 512, #3-6.
Speaker: - But page 525, # 3 and 8.
And so on.

I would like it to be educational for me, so I would prefer to speak about Health Policy aspect myself, as you are an expert in this field and can comment professionally on my speech.

My Past Simple sentences.

I woke up at 7:50 am today.
My son and I went to a book store yesterday.
We bought a book and two CDs for him.
He drove.
When we came back I asked him to take the trash out.
He did.
I asked him to feed the cat.
He said: What? I don't understand what you are talking about.
He was in a playful mood.
Later in the evening I read the book 'Mort' by Terry Pratchett aloud to my husband, because he was sick yesterday and layed in bed.
My son came into the room to check his Facebook news on my computer, because his computer got broken – the screen stayed black and the computer made funny sounds.
We had a family discussion about how to pronounce the word 'inevitability'.
We came to a conclusion that it had two stresses: ine'vitabi'lity.
We discussed the use of idioms in English.

It is very interesting though it is not Past Simple Tense.
Being dead in English can be described as
- six feet under – meaning that the body is six feet under the ground level, six feet is a standard depth of a grave;
- looking at the other side of the grass – we are looking at the grass from the upper side, and dead people would look at it from the other side.
- pushing up daisies – more active dead people would even try and help flowers grow.
These idioms have something to do with physical body. Here is another one: meeting the Creater. It refers to the soul.

We ate the left-overs from a day before yesterday.
Yesterday all my troubles seemed so far away.

Today's morning was a very trouble time for me.
My little son got ill yesterday.
And I took care about him for the hole night and day.
That's why I can't did many affairs wich I wanted to do.

Oops I'm all mixed up again!
I thought that the discussion will be next week.
And somehow I forgot that Аленький Цветочек wrote date when the discussion will be.
First I wanted to upset but then I thought that it will be more good if I'll write more sentences of Past Simple.

As far as I know 'he found his legs' means 'he got ability and independence'. Here it is explained in more details.

But I was surprised - when I read 'My younger son has not studied to go yet' I didn't understand the meaning. And when I saw 'found his legs', I immediately understood that the meaning was 'My younger son has not learned to walk yet.'

I haven't heard the expression 'in the last year' often (or maybe just haven't noticed it, because haven't known it). And that's why I haven't used it at all. Now, that I know it I can start to use it.

As I understand, you use it if you talk about several (repeated) events. For example, I have had 5 tests in the last week. Or, We have had 7 hurricanes in the last month. Compare to something that lasts for some time:
She has studied English for 2 weeks. The weather has been wonderful for a month (or this month).

I think you meant to ask: can you say that, honey?

No, you can't say "found legs". (Sorry, no offence to anyone, I hope) You can say, "My son has not learnt how to walk yet". Or "My son hasn't started walking yet".

By the way, "I have had many affairs in the last week" should be changed to
-I have had a lot to do last week.
or
-a lot of things to do last week.

Your original sentence can be translated as "У меня было куча любовных романов на той неделе". Вот чегой-то мне кажется, что ты не это имела в виду. Если имела бы, тут не бы не писала.

Oh, ladies, I am so sorry, the exact expression is "to find one's feet". Another is really connected with legs - "to feel legs". They both are connected with the babies' being able to walk.

Here's a site for kids. It has some flashcards: pictures and words. http://www.esl-kids.com/flashcards/clothes.html They can be printed out. It may be too early for her to learn English(?) She is only two? She still can enjoy nice pictures.
There are some other activities on that site, some of them are for older kids.
